WarmMiles was built by travelers who got tired of reading the same recycled hotel recommendations on every site. We believe mid-range travel — the sweet spot between budget backpacking and full luxury — is the most rewarding way to see the world. And it deserves better guides.
Every hotel we review, we pay for ourselves. Every destination guide is built from real trips, real conversations with locals, and real mistakes made along the way. We don't do press trips. We don't accept paid placements. When we recommend something, it's because we'd tell a friend to book it.
When we do earn through affiliate links, we disclose it clearly and we only link to services we'd use ourselves. That's how this site stays free and independent.
The best meal we've ever had cost €3 at a night market. The most memorable stay was a guesthouse with no website. Travel is full of experiences that don't show up in hotel star ratings or Michelin guides — and those are the ones worth writing about.
We cover the big destinations because that's where most travelers go. But within every destination, we try to find the neighbourhood restaurant that the hotel concierge wouldn't send you to, the guesthouse that doesn't advertise, the route that avoids the crowds.
That's what WarmMiles is about. Traveling better — not necessarily further, or more expensively.
Browse our destination guides, hotel reviews, and itineraries — all free, all honest.
